FAQ
Can I continue to exercise while going through the treatment plan?
Yes! Exercise is important for maintaining optimal health. Motion is lotion. Exercise in the form of walking, yoga (@ Breathe), sports &/or going to the gym (@ ICON) can help with your treatment plan. Make sure to listen to your body though, do not push yourself if you know you might hurt something doing so.
Do I have to ice after every treatment?
Ice is recommended to help reduce inflammation and soreness that can be experienced after an adjustment. The icing protocol we recommend for any soreness is 15min on, 30min break and one more session of 15min, sometime after a treatment.
Is it okay to have a massage while going through chiropractic care?
Massage therapy and chiropractic care can complement one another. Receiving massage before an adjustment may help some patients relax or feel more comfortable during care. Your chiropractor can help you determine the best timing for your treatments.
Is chiropractic care for me?
Chiropractic care focuses on the spine, joints, and nervous system to support mobility and musculoskeletal health. Many people choose chiropractic care to help manage pain, improve movement, and support overall well-being. Chiropractic care supports musculoskeletal health and part of a comprehensive approach to wellness.
